Closing a shift, summary & order history

Closing a shift

At the end of the day, the cashier closes their shift to reconcile actual cash against the system.

  1. On the Sales screen, click Close shift.
  2. The Close shift dialog shows a Revenue by method table (Cash / KHQR / Card), with revenue and refunded amounts for each method during the shift.
  3. Below that, a cash reconciliation table computes:
Expected cash = Opening cash + Cash payments received − Change given to customers − Cash refunded (calculated separately for USD and Riel).
  4. The Orders in this shift section lists every order in the shift — if an order has transactions spanning two different shifts (e.g. sold in this shift, refunded in a later one), it's flagged with a warning.
  5. Enter the Actual cash counted (USD) and Actual Riel counted — the physical count from the drawer. The Difference versus the expected amount is shown immediately.
  6. Add a Note if you need to explain a discrepancy (cash short/over).
  7. Click Close shift to confirm. Once closed, the shift becomes Closed and can no longer be sold against — open a new shift for the next work period.

Every closed shift can be reviewed later from the Cash sessions menu, filterable by branch, status, and date range.

Viewing order history

There are 2 places to view orders:

  • Today's sales (right below the Sales screen) — only shows counter sales created today by the cashier currently signed in, for quick actions (cancel, advance status).
  • Orders (its own menu) — every order for the shop from all sources (in-store, Website, Telegram, Shopee, TikTok, ...), not limited by day or creator. Filterable by:
    • Branch
    • Status: Pending / Processing / Completed / Cancelled
    • Source (sales channel)
    • Date range
    • Search by order code or customer name

For orders that aren't completed right away (e.g. need preparation), click Advance status to move the order to the next step (Pending → Processing → Completed). See Cancelling orders & processing returns for how to cancel or return an order.
