Customer groups & group pricing

Customer groups

Go to Customers → Customer groups.

1. Click Add group, enter a Group name (e.g. "Wholesale", "Dealer", "VIP").
2. Check Default group so it automatically applies to new customers who aren't assigned a specific group.
3. You can't delete a group that still has customers assigned to it — move those customers to another group first.

Group-specific pricing

Each customer group can have its own selling prices, different from a product's default price.

1. From the group list, click Manage prices on the group you want to set up.
2. For each product variant, leave the price field empty to use the Default price, or enter a Group price specific to this group.
3. Save.

When selling, if you pick a customer who belongs to a group with custom prices, the system automatically applies the group price instead of the default — see the "Pick a customer" step in Selling at the counter.
