Telegram sales bot

Go to Settings → Telegram Bots to connect a dedicated Telegram bot for each branch, letting customers browse products and place orders directly on Telegram.

Connecting a bot for a branch

1. Create a new bot on Telegram via @BotFather and get the Bot Token it gives you.
2. In the branch list, click Connect bot on the branch you want to attach it to, and paste the Bot Token you just created.
3. Optionally fill in: a Welcome message shown the first time a customer opens the bot, the Customer-facing language (the language the bot uses when customers browse products/order — independent from whichever language you're currently using in LeangPos), a Bank transfer QR image for customers to scan and pay, and a Shipping fee applied to delivery orders (leave at 0 for free shipping; not charged for self-pickup).
4. Turn on Active and save.

Once saved, the system shows a verification code — open the bot you just connected on Telegram and send it that code so your Telegram account starts receiving notifications for new orders placed through the bot. The code is only valid for a few minutes; if it expires, save the configuration again to get a new one.

Editing / disconnecting

Click Edit configuration to change the welcome message, language, shipping fee, or QR image — leaving the Bot Token field empty while editing keeps the existing token, so you don't need to look it up on BotFather just to change other settings. Click Disconnect to remove the bot from the branch (a confirmation is required).

If the bot suddenly stops working: the system periodically checks it and sends an email alert if the token was changed or revoked on @BotFather — when that happens, come back to this page and paste in a new token to reconnect.
